#less365, day 365: one less free movie pass that I got in 2007 for completing a short survey since the showing we went to was special for the hearing impaired. At the time, I thought the 2014 expiration date was silly. I mean, 7+ years? Really??
But here we are at the end of 2012 and I still haven’t used it. I moved mid-2008 and am not near any Regal theaters anymore. Regifting this to my cousin.
#less365, day 364: one less postcard print thing that I’ve had forever. I don’t remember where I found it, but I thought it was cute. Passing it on to a friend’s teenager daughter who I think will appreciate it too.
#less365, days 332-363: twenty nine less imps and two less bottles of BPAL, and one less Christian Dior Eau Svelte spray.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I never really got into BPAL but have still managed to amass a collection through gifts and purchases. These have basically been sitting in a drawer unloved and unused over the last few years. They have been regifted to Dawna, who first introduced me to BPAL, in hopes that she gets more use out of them, whether that’s wearing or selling.
IMPS:
BOTTLES
#less365, days 330+331: two less guitar picks that I’ve had for years even though I’ve never owned a guitar, much less played one. Regifting to Rich.
#less365, day 329: one less panda hat (I still have 2 others). This came with matching gloves and was a birthday present a couple of years ago. The hat is unfortunately too big for my head, which is odd since it’s child-sized. Regifting to a friend’s almost-teenage daughter and hoping it will fit her better than it fits me.
#less365, day 328: one less wasted shoebox. I forgot to take before pictures, but it’s been upcycled into a charging station.
#less365, day 327: one less Empires & Allies shirt. I was going to keep this one as a sleep shirt since it’s soft, but the design is actually kind of scratchy against my skin. Donating to Goodwill at the end of the month.
#less365, day 326: one less Ball Toss shirt, sorry guys. This will be donated to Goodwill at the end of the month.
#less365, day 325: one less squishy pill stress ball thing from our health benefits fair a couple of years ago. Regifted it to a more stressed out coworker who wanted it.
#less365, day 324: one less Zynga beanie. Regifted to a coworker who likes beanies.
#less365, days 306-323: eighteen less buttons (there’s also a blue-violet [this is good] Vox button that’s not pictured. I’ve had this collection of buttons that started from the Vox launch party in 2006, then collected more along the way from SXSW, and others that were sent to me or received with a purchase. I finally put the ones I still like/support/use onto a bag, and the rest will be regifted or trashed or something. Vox and diddit no longer exist, does this make these buttons worth more or less?
#less365, day 305: one less blue pendant that’s too chunky for my tastes. Regifting to a friend’s almost-teenage daughter.
#less365, day 304: one wrap watch that I got to see if I’d like wrap watches. I’ll probably get myself a better quality one. Regifting to a friend’s almost-teenage daughter.
#less365, day 303: one less incomplete collection of bag tags. I decided it’s enough to save just boarding passes since I don’t have all my bag tags and they’re messy and sticky anyway.
